If something is important to you, then knowing your WHY for doing it needs to be crystal clear. This will help you get through those challenging moments. You know, the times you don't feel like doing it.
In 1997, I had my second ACL surgery when I was with the Atlanta Falcons. Doctor Bishop, who perform my surgery, said, "with all the surgeries you've had, I can't stress enough the importance of taking care of your heath. If you don't, you will have many more surgeries waiting for you." That was all he had to say to me, and 23 years later, I've continued to make living a healthy lifestyle a priority.
The point is, we're all being pulled in so many directions and at times we can feel overwhelmed. In spite of that, be sure your health is a priority. Make one of your most significant investments in the one place you will live for the rest of your life: YOUR BODY!
